Though my projects generally revolve around building APIs, I am also capable of building desktop or CLI apps and tools where it makes sense. I do have a strong preference for the cloud-agnostic tools like Docker and PostgreSQL, as I believe this is in the best interest of most startups and small businesses.

Before our call, I'd appreciate some heads-up as to what you are expecting to get out of it. For example, if you have an existing solution, tell me a bit about the tech stack. Knowing that you've build the entire thing on .NET, for example, makes it easy to rather refer you to someone more aligned with that design choice. My preference is for tooling like Java, Python or Go, though, I have also delivered Pascal and JavaScript solutions, depending on the requirements. The more detail you can share about your needs, the better I can prepare and help us both get the most out of the call.
